About

Jae has been an EMS educator since 2016, focusing on integrating technology and student-centered teaching methods into pre-hospital medicine education. Currently, Jae is a faculty member in UMBC's EDHS department, primarily teaching in the paramedic program. He instructs various clinical courses and oversees clinical simulation labs. Jae earned his paramedic degree from UMBC and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in public policy with a concentration in Emergency Management.Outside the classroom, Jae is an active Paramedic in Maryland. He also enjoys applying his skills in photography, research, and project management to both personal and entrepreneurial projects.
