Certificate of Public Administration

The Department of Emergency and Disaster Health Systems, through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Political Science, offers a Certificate of Public Administration and Policy. Students must complete 36 credit hours for the certificate. The following coursework must be completed to be eligible for the certificate.

This certificate is part of a Minor and connected to a Undergraduate degree. It is not a stand alone program.


Certificate Requirements


  • Minimum 29 credits
  • Minimum grade of ‘C’ in courses applied to the certificate
  • Students pursuing the Political Science, B.A. may share a maximum of 3 courses between the certificate and the majo

Internship Requirement (4 credits)

Included in Emergency and Disaster Health Systems Degree
